Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced cheap robot vacuum cleaner vacuum to date. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep in areas you don’t want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

Its design is a step above the competition with a sleek top 10 robot vacuum cleaner piece that looks more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It even could catch small gravel and sand which other robots aren't able to do. It did all without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update is working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your Best Self cleaning robot vacuum (streamy.watch) option is probably one that is a hybrid. This kind of robot usually comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the premium features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories), it's still a great choice if you are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums robot fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it can be accomplished easily. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people however it can assist you in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive as well. It's the few robovacs I've tried that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robot vacuum cleaner black friday vacuums. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, either, and it doesn't have a dock that allows you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive however it comes with more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app guides you through the steps needed to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock near an outlet for power and plenty of room to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30, however is less expensive and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products such as cereal.
