The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums robot fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent as well, with only a few missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once it's installed it can be accomplished easily. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people however it can assist you in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot effortlessly.
