1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good option for those looking for an automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it is full.
Both robots do well picking up surface debris on carpets and hard floors and they're excellent at maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or any other top 10 robot vacuum cleaner-rated robots we test. It could be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas where the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, and include putting away any clutter or toys it might encounter. It's also a good idea to keep the dustbin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is low it will return to its docking station and automatically empties its dirt into the station's external dustbin and continues cleaning the area where it began. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes about three hours to fully recharge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot i7+ is an excellent model from iRobot's flagship line and comes with the latest features. It is self-charging and self-navigating. But the most important feature is its self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces recurring cost.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session and move around the room and vacuum the area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. When connected we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10

The biggest issue with the V10 is its sluggish run time. The tests conducted by CR show that its claims to run up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is a typical, not an exceptional, time to run an electric cordless vacuum powered by batteries. This is still enough to vacuum the majority of a home that's average size however, it's not enough to get every single spot (though a second run-through usually can be effective). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is significantly better on low-pile floor carpet.

It also has a larger dustbin and is charged faster.
