WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item level upgrade (https://imoodle.win) upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of armor or weapon. However, the item used to upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item upgrades however they'll always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items which can be used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and can also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will display an image of the item at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs differ based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Many locations have upgraders for their items in addition to the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount and the chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded, and can be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at beginning unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. Instead, the NPCs that are available to help with upgrades require various methods, which is both an improvement but also a drawback.

In Season 3, the upgrade system has been modified a bit, and numerous new features added. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a specific item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading additional items to the same level will be less expensive, even if they are part of an entirely different set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade is cut as well, but is only available when certain milestones are reached.

Crests

Players have several options when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral component of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System introduced in version 10.1. They come in four ranks.

First, you should know that Crests are only available to gear of a certain rank. Each rank comes with an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade item costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, based on the type or equipment being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through completing content of the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons with all difficulty for items of higher tier or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses to obtain endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

The use of these currencies isn't too complicated however, the system will introduce a few modifications to the upgrade process. For instance, when a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests wisely, as they are only used for one purpose. For instance, it's Best item upgrader to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top gear you have available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning to create. This is particularly applicable to items like trinkets and rings that take up multiple slots. The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
