Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

Now is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up dirt and spills with ease without leaving any trace that was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean in areas that you don't want. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it by speaking to it.

The design is also superior to the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that looks like an toy, not the loud and annoying robot vacuum deals black friday. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place instead of scattering it on the floor. It even managed to catch small gravel and sand, which most other robots can't. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your best choice is probably one that is a hybrid. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also come with a variety of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance and even the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they tend to be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuum cleaner commercial vacuums and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it an excellent choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make this robot vac simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people, but it's one that will aid in keeping the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are among the top available however, it's also expensive.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions, and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do a really good robot vacuum job of cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, meaning it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price tag.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard floors, as well as a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room for it to move however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it will fit under many couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It makes use of an integrated map to draw a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers better performance on bare floors and low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also has border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
