How To Identify The Item Upgrade That s Right For You
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next successful result is to be rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item upgrades. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This makes it an ideal way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item level upgrade at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item level upgrade is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade item components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats and more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade items.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
