best automatic vacuum and mop Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to sweep and mop in one session and can lift its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any vacuum we've examined to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons for a thorough clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop- and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to get rid of their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the hefty price tag, we highly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum that mops vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well across the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads sold separately will also need to be changed periodically.

With the L10S Ultra's high-end price tag and extensive functionality I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I suggest considering a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best rated robot vacuum robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your floors. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself while moving and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of fresh, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This can be accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow users to use their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map out a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can select specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like all the Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

One of the biggest flaws of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
