World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to increase the level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This increases the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls on an affix.

It is important to note that while you can upgrade magic and other common equipment, it is generally not worth the cost. Rare and exclusive equipment can quickly outperform upgraded magic and common equipment.

Cost

If a player wants to upgrade an item upgrader kit, they have to spend Gold to upgrade the item. The cost of upgrading an item upgrader mod is contingent on its current level as well as the upgrade type selected. Upgrades to weapons are typically cheaper than upgrades for armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold needed increases as an item is upgraded.

An upgraded item will also come with increased stats, which could boost its performance in many ways. This can include boosting its attack power or critical strike chance. In addition, an upgraded item may be able to give additional bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades are able to be used for a number of reasons such as to increase the overall strength of a group or individual unit. They can also have a major impact on the gameplay.

Items can be upgraded by any item upgrader NPC in the game. These NPCs can be found in the major questing areas or capital cities. Players can also find upgraders in dungeons that have high-level bosses and by talking to the NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.

The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the ability to upgrade the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is very similar to the process of reforging gear in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the appropriate currency players need to visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.

Upgrades can be expensive, especially for weapons and armor. Based on the upgrade path you select, each item level increase can cost Valorstones or Crests. The total costs can be very prohibitive for players who don't have the funds or aren't willing to grind them.

Fortunately the game lets players roll an upgraded item using an additional tool available in the items menu. This option exchanges the upgraded item with an equivalent level 1 version of it that has a different set of bonus effects. This is a great way to gain better results on items that have already been upgraded. However, it could also be a waste.

Requirements

Upgrading is the process of increasing the item level of equippable items like trinkets, weapons and armor. This can boost their power and make them more effective in battle. Players can upgrade gear by paying the appropriate currency at an item upgrader NPC. However, players should be aware that some upgrades have specific requirements.

The earliest upgrades only increase the stats of the item's base by one level, but later upgrades offer more substantial increases. For example, upgrading a weapon from three to level six will increase the weapon's damage by two levels. A bonus stat will be added to the upgraded item based on the level. The bonus is a combination of a guaranteed substat as well as a randomly generated stat that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item that has been upgraded. The new item comes with a different set of extra bonuses, and is of a lower level for the item. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item will not retain its original level or any of its wasted resource.

Rerolling upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic Rare, Rare, or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be allowed to be rerolled, but their original stats will be replaced with a flat bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will produce the normal version, and doing the same with the Epic version will result in an elite version.

A newly upgraded item could come with additional modifiers, which could further boost its stats and enhance its performance. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. Alternatively, they can be earned through completing certain missions in the game.

To upgrade a piece equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade a piece of equipment, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will need Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 can be dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.

Time is an important factor.

Upgrades to items can be used to improve the performance of your equipment and ship without having to level them. While upgrading isn't cheap, it can be an effective way to boost your stats without having to spend as much time in battle. However, it's important to know the benefits and costs of upgrading your items before investing your money or time.

Each upgrade increases the item's base stat to a certain extent and also gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The additional substat is randomly assigned and may range from a slight increase in one stat to an even greater increase in another. It's best to focus on the best-in-slot items first, as they will provide a greater return for your investment.

You can see the time required to complete an upgrade if you open your inventory and select the weapon, ship or other accessory. The upgrade window will display the progress and expected completion time. In some instances, you may be capable of speeding up the process by using a Glyph.

Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage offer a salvage kit that allows you to salvage all or a portion of upgrade components. However, this does not include legendary equipment or upgrades which can be recovered by using an Upgrade Extractor, or by reclaiming them with the corresponding karma merchant.

Enjoy the Benefits

The upgrading of items rewards players with money and a variety of items. Each upgrade also has a chance of granting a random stat bonus. The bonus value differs for each upgrade, and is typically higher for rarer items. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item can be upgraded. The search can also help determine whether the item is a certain tier and if the player could benefit from a particular upgrade.

In the process of upgrading, an item will gradually grow closer to its next level but won't always reach a fully upgraded bar. This process uses Growthstones and Sollant, but there is a ten percent chance to achieve an item that is fully upgraded in only one cycle of growth. The higher the levels an item attains the more stat value will be and the more items that can be upgraded.

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to gain an attribute bonus, or a special effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving as a gift. Players can also recover upgraded items using an upgrade extractor or salvaging using a salvage of a higher tier kit. Glyphs that are placed in tools for gathering, can be freely swapped without any restrictions.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has a rerolling arrow, a player can roll it into an upgradeable item. This alters the layout of the item's window and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item level upgrade that is recycled will be exchanged for an item upgrades at level 1 of the same type. Recycled items won't keep their level, or the resources used to upgrade them.

The maximum upgrade level of an item is determined by the item's tier and its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels up to nine, while common items can only be upgraded to level six. Upgrades to items are added to the item's base statistics which means that they will no longer increase after a certain point.
