The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is among the best in the industry, but it's expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and can be hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots have to leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It can't climb stairs as well as competitors, and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.
