Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful best robot vacuum for large house that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't sweep in areas you don't would like. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can start and stop it with your voice.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will reduce your cleaning time.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it around the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, is still an option for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to determine whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best automatic vacuum choice. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also have many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The negative is that they can be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuum near me vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem where many cheaper robot vacuums fail. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a new auto-emptying dock, designed to make the robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place it is done easily. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for most people however it can aid in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are some of the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that do an excellent job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for an all-around great robot vacuum sale vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price price.

But if you want to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides a similar in-app experience with more features, including the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, a Anker company is a long-standing leader of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up, simply snap on one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet and have plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It uses an integrated map to draw a picture of the immovable items that are in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning the area it left.

The elegant G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with the boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is less expensive and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be emptied as often, and it has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
