What is Evolution?

They argue that evolution is inconceivable because it would require miracles. The pioneers of modern science shunned miracles in fear that they could lose their credibility.
Some creationists accept naturalistic evolution as well as special creation, and call their view "theistic evolution." This is also known as "continuous evolutionism" or the "evolution of species created." This theory states that God creates the original species and allows them to change over time. These evolutionary changes will eventually produce new species similar to the original.
Some creationists believe that God created all living things and the entire universe in one event called the Great Flood. These creationists believe that the first species were created simultaneously, and that they evolved slowly afterward. They also reject the concept of abiogenesis and argue that the creation of self-replicating organisms from nonliving matter is not possible.
