Components

Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade elements which can be put in special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in a variety of ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 as soon as you can.

In the endgame, you will often find that the best way to enhance your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and offer a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced with a new item of the same type. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own.
