The X40 as with other iRobot products, is simple to use. It comes with an intuitive mobile application interface and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple HomeKit. The well-designed iRobot app guides you through a mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you set on the map. You can use it to make cleaning schedules, plan the perfect spot for cleaning or sort out your rooms with the most dirt for better performance. The app comes with a variety of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.
