1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling, the i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. That makes the i3+ a great option for those who want an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it fills up.
Both robots are good at removing surface dirt on hard floors and carpets and can navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that aid the i3+ EVO navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. However, unlike the i7+ and other top rated robots we test the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities and therefore it could be stuck on things like socks or power cords, and it can have difficulty navigating across surface transitions, such as from hardwood to carpet.
iRobot recommends that you tidy the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it may encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clear so they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station and automatically emptys the dirt into the docking station's dust bin. It then continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half of continuous use, and takes around three hours to recharge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is packed with the latest features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and -- the most important feature of all -- it has an auto-emptying dustbin, which eliminates one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning jobs and control your robot using voice or through the app.
The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface, including carpeting. Its greatest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin, which eliminates major sources of maintenance and reduces the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session and to move around the room and sweep an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. We were able, once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

The main issue with the V10 is its short running time. Its claims on the market that it can provide up to 60 minutes of running time are not true as CR's tests have shown. This is an average, not an exceptional, time for the battery-powered cordless vacuum. That's still enough run time to clean most of an average-sized house but not long enough to cover every area (though the second time around usually will suffice). This model has its own advantages however: it's light and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models and its ability to vacuum is noticeably superior on low-pile floor carpet.

One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums, the 694 is an affordable model that's an excellent choice for people who don't wish to spend too much on a robot.
