However, they have several flaws that prevent them from being our top choice. One of the flaws of the Q5 is that its navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's therefore prone to become stuck on shoes and socks, and it couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people efficiently during our tests. It doesn't also have a camera to see around corners.
It's still a good deal particularly if your office or home has lots of unfinished flooring and you're looking to save some money. It's also quiet and can be used while you're at work or in school. The only thing it doesn't have that you don't get in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. It's the only robotic mop or vacuum that has a perfect 10 in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, which include a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers.
