Components

Infusions and enrichments are a specific type of upgrade component used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment as well as the back items that are not ascending. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the item to the upgrade (for examplefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item upgrader mod, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level using standard methods.

A boost upgrade can alter the defense or attack characteristics of a weapon or armor. Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, so it is recommended to place Glyphs in key spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For instance an Druid should try to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrader kit upgrade system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades a piece of equipment, the base item is replaced by a new item level upgrade. This means that the same armor piece will get the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item upgrader kit also has its own set of bonuses. This could be a problem because it can make the item more expensive if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrades. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it's not something that should be done regularly, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. Requirements

The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance, the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is calculated each time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The upgrade cost for non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For example, they may need fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. Players will still have to bring every piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade of equipment requires different amounts of upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs that are listed above.
