Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday robot vacuum deals [read this blog post from Lovewiki]

If you've always wanted to get a robot vacuum cleaner on sale vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. Its biggest advancement is an obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease while leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than the loud and annoying robot vacuum cleaners. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ swiftly took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor robot. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's shedding hair.

While it's not quite as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent option for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a while to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine if the update is actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than just clean floors, your best option is probably hybrid. This category of bots typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your house at the same time. These bots also have various additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock is one of our favorite robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent choice if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this machine easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, but once it's installed it is done without difficulty. It also comes with a large LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the top in the market, but it's expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and can be hidden when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the few robovacs I've tested that do very well at cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do everything.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive, but offers more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuum cleaner amazon vacuums with the right balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with plenty of space to move.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it is able to be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its competitors. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of the non-movable objects that are in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base, and then resumes cleaning from where it started.

The elegant G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin, which doesn't require as much emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and it's less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
