It's also prone to become stuck on shoes and socks and could not navigate rooms with lots of people well in our tests. It doesn't also come with a camera to look around corners.

It's still a good value, especially if your office or home has a lot of bare floors and you want to save money. It's also very quiet and works while you are at work or school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming that is offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and spot obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its premium competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time hazard detection but this was not 100% foolproof during our tests and was occasionally confused by power cords or other obstructions.

The vacuum has a suction maximum of 7,000 Pascals, which is more than enough to get the job done. It also has "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the amount of time the vacuum works and also adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home according to the amount of dirt they are.

It can be used to create cleaning schedules, or to create an automatic spot-clean. It can also be used to it to prioritize your dirtiest areas for better performance. The app also gives access to many options, including seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
