1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most expensive robot vacuum advanced Robot vacuum deals black Friday vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off by speaking to it.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not do this. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

The j7+, though not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and isn't able to clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with a variety of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock has some of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. While it may not come with some of the premium features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent option if you are willing to compromise to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas and modify your home map or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver however, once it's in place emptying the bin can be done easily. It has a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, however it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded cheap robot vacuum vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are some of the best self cleaning vacuum on the market however, it's also expensive.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've used that has done an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost substantially less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the right balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard flooring, and mopping functions for a low cost. It's simple to set up, simply attach one of the side brush, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to leave the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space for it to move however.

The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what sets it apart from its competitors. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life. It also offers superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't have to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is, however, is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as often, and it has less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
