How Item Upgrade Changed My Life For The Better
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that weapons and melee attacks while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item upgrading's current status and what it will be when being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with one another, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade item process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item level upgrade. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
