1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've tested. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start manual will have you running in no time. You'll have a a full dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.

The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and also vacuums well. The mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. Its only issue is that the robot tends to hit objects and walls at full speed. However, a quick look at the history of cleaning in the app will show you precisely what the robot has done, where it is moving, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.

The docking station has an LCD display that displays the need for maintenance for cleaning up debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It's also capable of mixing detergent automatically into the water tank using a 600ml bottle of eufy's own solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop is able to run for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to see every aspect of the cleaning.

The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin auto-filling.

The only negative I discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed), it's a pain to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the best rated robot vacuum passes will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which could cause scratches.
