Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-highest rated robot vacuum models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba J7+, iRobot's smartest robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of any object it encounters so you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't clean in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

Its design is an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base automatic floor cleaner Dirt disposal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, instead of scattering it on the best automatic floor cleaner. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.

Although it's not as sophisticated as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying robot vacuum cleaner industrial Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the ideal choice. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also come with various additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock produces several of our top robotic vacuum cleaner best vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't include some of the expensive features (like no-go zones or multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice if you are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock that's specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help you effectively keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market, but it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it automates many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done an excellent job of removing dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's not able to climb stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and doesn't come with a dock that lets you to create a dedicated cleaning zone for plush carpets.

While it doesn't offer the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.

But if you want to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot, there are plenty of other options available, including a lot of eufy models priced considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive and has many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpet flooring, and mopping capabilities at an affordable price. It's easy to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, switch it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock near a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move around however.

The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, meaning it can fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, with a sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and where it can't access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it began.

The sleek G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with the boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30 on the other hand is more affordable and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
