It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you've seen it in the action.

This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

But if you want to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robot there are many alternatives available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper, but offers more features, including the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile as well as high-pile ones.

It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is, however is more affordable and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as often and it's less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
