Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever wanted to get a robot vacuum, now is the time to get one. CNET's top-rated models will be available during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s smartest robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to identify objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, removing dirt and spills with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t want. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base best automatic floor cleaner Dirt Disposal System automatically empty and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering around the floor robot. It even could take small gravel and sand which other robots couldn't do. And all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shed.

While it's not quite as smart as the Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs The j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell if the update is actually working until you see it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, your most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but they often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice if you are willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in cleaning robots up dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleaning robots, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the cheap robot vacuum cleaner easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place emptying the bin is done with relative ease. It also has a large LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it can assist you in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are some of the top available however it's expensive.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is quite compact. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only robot vacuum I've tried that does an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the home. It's not able navigate stairs as well as competitors, and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price cost.

However, if you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options on the market with a wide range of eufy models that cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for carpets and hard flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it can be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The main feature that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable objects in its path. It can remember what it has already cleaned and what it is unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and it struggles less with bulky materials such as cereal.
