Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't keep the level of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item level upgrade to a better quality. To create them, you require an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item upgrader kit, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the Best item upgrade's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item upgrader kit reaches its maximum level, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. In the same way, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item upgrade, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them additional effects or an increase in level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve a perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
