WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

The upgraded gear typically has a more value in trade regardless of whether it has low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or has a high stat variance (like eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item level upgrade (sneak a peek at this website) upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and can't be used again. Upgrades can be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. It is recommended to visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks, to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level of the item being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. The button will show the item's next upgrade level, when there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the slot of the item and current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for instance. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Item upgraders can be found at many locations including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide an upgrade discount as well as a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. The discount on upgrades increases when more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

Icewind Dale does not have an item upgrader at start, unlike Cromwell from Baldur's Gate II. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only accessible via a variety of ways. This is both a positive and an issue.

In Season 3, a number of new features have been added to the upgrade system. After a player has earned an upgrade to a certain item upgrader mod level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to that same item level will cost less, even if they are part of another set of gear.

The amount of Valorstones required for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is account-wide. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW players have a few choices. Flightstones are an item upgrading that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more special and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system that was introduced in 10.1, and come in 4 ranks.

First, you should know that the crests can only be purchased for gear of a certain rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The simplest and simplest upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complicated may require as many as 20 crests, based on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through finishing tasks at the appropriate level. This could be done by engaging in outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in all difficulties to get equipment of lower tier or Mythicbosses for raids, or dungeons with a heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests are then exchanged with an upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn, in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, but it brings some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest upgrade level of any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all their characters, instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

Another notable modification is that crests have one usage and it's crucial to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the best equipment you have and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning on making. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
