Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%..
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to provide you with a picture of an object that it encounters, so that you can instruct the robot to stay clear of it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off with your voice.
The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features a sleek, top piece that appears like a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to clean up dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the automatic floor vacuum. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel that other robots couldn't do. It did all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.
While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the j7+ is still a solid option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you see them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the best robot hoover choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your home at the same time. These bots also come with many additional features like smart vacuum cleaner mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. This is the least expensive model in their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent option for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal option for homes with many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls or in corners.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labels of rooms.
If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place it is done with relative ease. It also has an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't required for most people but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot clean and charged.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does very well at cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, which means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price tag.
If you're looking to save some money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic There are many other great choices available, including a lot of eufy models priced considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides an identical experience on the app with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac g30
Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors as well as mopping, carpets and other surfaces at an affordable price point. It's easy to set up, simply snap on one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to a power outlet and ample space for it to move but.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, with sleek black finish and three physical buttons that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge, and Spot Cleaning (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The primary aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and what it isn't able to access. When it needs to recharge, it returns to its base, and then resumes cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, is charged faster and has a similar battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with an array of boundaries to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with bulky materials like cereal.
