Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide

Item upgrading is a key element to maximize your gearing potential. It allows you to add bonus stats and bonuses on top of your base level item's value.

Each upgrade template comes with set options that can be configured via the GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the possibility of upgrading.

Upgrade components

As part of the 2.0 update the upgrade system for weapons and armor in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also include an upgrade slot. When you select an item to upgrade the game will display an image of what the expected stats will be after upgrading, and the necessary component or item required. If you do not have the necessary level of material or component needed to upgrade an item then the button will read "Blocked."

Weapons and armor can be upgraded, along with some trinkets as well as gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these can be filled with different upgrades that give you bonus points or other effects while the equipment is in use. These upgrades are available through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or obtained as a reward.

There are two kinds of upgrade components that are gems and universal upgrades. Universal upgrades are comparable to gems and are able to be used in any type of equipment. They provide a lesser bonus than other upgrade components. The process of obtaining them is quite simple, as they can be dropped by enemies, or looted throughout the world. Gems can be obtained through disassembling objects or completing certain tasks.

Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones within the slot of the weapon. However it will destroy any previous upgrades. All other upgrades, except for glyphs that are added to gathering tools are not able to be removed from an item upgrader kit after they are inserted. Infusions, which are placed in ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enhancements, which can only be extracted with an upgrade extractor, or by salvaging the item using the highest-quality salvage kit, can be replaced every hour.

Recycled Items

In the last two world wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world to adopt recycling. Recycling things like aluminum, plastic and paper is commonplace. They get a new lease on life. Recycling saves energy and prevents carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. Recycling is a fantastic way of avoiding landfills and conserving natural resources. However, it is crucial to understand what can be recycled and what cannot.

One common error that people make is putting things that are not appropriate in the recycling bin. These items not only harm recycling equipment, but can also end up in the stream. To avoid this, read the label and adhere to the rules of your recycling program. For instance, cardboard should not be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue should be disposed of in the trash. Plastic bags also tangle in recycling machines and should be taken to a grocery store for reuse. Berry containers and food containers are also items that can be disposed of. Glass is the only exception as glass can be used to construct with.

When purchasing new items it is important to look for the tag "Made with recycled content." This label indicates that the product is made from recycled materials from products that have already served their purpose. This makes them a more environmentally friendly option than brand new items made from raw materials. These materials are also cheaper than virgin ones.

Whether it's your old phone, tablet or computer, you can recycle these objects by taking them to a recycling center. They'll use the materials to create new electronics and other useful items. You can even get cash from these companies by returning the old ones.

If you want to help your coworkers to recycle, consider standardizing the colors of the bins and signage in your office. This will reduce confusion and increase participation rates. In addition, make sure that you have a designated space for all recyclables in your workplace, such as a centralized bin or a box in the breakroom.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens let you roll the dice to increase your stats and cool abilities. They are available in the mistery box as rare drops from skulled creatures, or from killed bosses. Each token takes one attribute point from damage, and then randomly rolls it into a new attribute. You can also roll additional attributes on objects, like regeneration and speed.

The amount of additional items that are added to an item is different with each level. The value of an extra is calculated as a percent of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token could alter the value. Additionally, the item's recycle value also rises with each upgrade. Generally speaking, the value of an item's primary stat will increase by 3 with each level, whereas the value of its additional stats will vary.

To roll an item again you need to click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory. You can also hit the button on a lobby of a player, and then select "Reroll". After you have rerolled the item, it will disappear from your collection.

You can purchase rerolls and other items in-game from Sagbe which is an in-game Token Shop trader. You can also earn free rerolls redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be used to claim many items, including Reroll Tokens and Clan Reroll Tokens.

These rerolls can be useful at the beginning of the game, when you are attempting to build up your inventory. However, they're not the best way to boost your character's stats. Instead, you should focus on getting more skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing event tiers.

You can also reroll your character's race by purchasing an reroll token for races, which is available through the Zen Market. This token allows you to change your race once and can be redeemed through specific pack purchases or the Token Shop. You can also get it as a reward when you complete Meg's cases during the Port Sarim Invasion event.

Leveling

The process of leveling an item during an upgrade process increases its power level and stats. However, it can also increase the cost of upgrades and requires an amount of materials to complete the process. The type of material required is dependent on the item upgrader. For instance, weapons utilize a combination of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor is composed of Harmony Leapstones, Shards and other materials. Adding additional materials to the process may increase the chance of success, but this isn't an assurance.

The process of leveling uses an algorithm to determine the amount of damage, magic attack and defense an upgraded item receives when it is upgraded. The formulas are different based on the weapon type and rarity. There is also a maximum level for each type of gear.

The NPC will display an upgrade option once the item reaches its maximum level. This enables players to upgrade the item to the next level by infusing it with experience. To maximize the effectiveness of this process, players should make sure their gear is leveled prior to attempting an upgrade. They can save time and money by not using up materials or experience that could be spent on other upgrades.

When the upgrade is in process while the upgrade is taking place, the NPC will show a window that has two lines. The first shows how many Tech Points the upgrade will give, while the second shows a preview of how the item will look like at its upgraded state. The preview may not be exact if the item is equipped with mods. However, it can give you an idea of what the item will look like.

The NPC will display the cost to upgrade item the item. This will include the cost of Technology Points, if applicable. If you own an Accelerator, it will also display the cost. Accelerators can be bought on the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained through an upgrade by 50 percent. This bonus is not applicable to the chance of a product's quality, which resets once the item is at the mark level.

The Upgrade NPC provides a service for transfers of gear. This allows players to save the experience and upgrade progress of the gear they own and transfer it to a different item in the same slot. This is beneficial for those who want to upgrade their gear but do not have enough cash to purchase a brand new set.
