World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will be able to gain an additional 3% of the previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item level upgrade increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons and armor to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into equipment that has a slot for them; the item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level for a component to be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A suffix or prefix can be added to an upgrade, which alters the name of the item it is used on (for instance, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using fewer Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist, these upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-level version of the item will drop in the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their equipment even if they are unsure what will be improved following an update.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a significant risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails. A failed upgrade will ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that double or even eliminate the possibility of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, and include any existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

You will often find in the endgame that placing Glyphs is the best way to upgrade your equipment. These are the only upgrade component which can be upgraded to level 15 and offer an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools and also through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you will require them to be placed on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a particular set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is Best item upgrade to put Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example, a Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the performance of specific items by putting upgraded components inside them. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded until they reach a maximum level of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in the crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns several Technology Points. These points can be used for upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned, you will be able to claim your upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When a player improves a piece of equipment, the base item will be replaced by an item that is new. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. This can be a disadvantage because it can cause the item to become more expensive if you don't need it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough reroll tokens to do so. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it is based on a level 1 base and totally different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can use up many resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives buffs when the player continuously enters or exits the water. It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by a factor of 10. This item is extremely useful in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of the non-upgraded version.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to boost the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate currency and items to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase the base defense of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items are upgradeable up to five times, with the exception for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every when you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to return to its initial state which means that the player has to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally the item will lose any bonus it earned, including crit chance and attack damage, as well as all other effects that are associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or speed of reload). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded increases its crit chance it will be applied before any attack damage increases. A new attribute known as Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is recomputed each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are determined by its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item upgrader might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements from normal equipment. For example they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. The player will need to bring each piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade requires an individual amount of ingredients for upgrading.
