It's not equipped with the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick very well and cannot handle dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. It's also a bit expensive, but not as much as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally powerful and more attractive. If you're willing some more volume and some extra cost, this is a very efficient two-in-one device that should satisfy most people.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot vacuum and mop. It has a number of features that are advanced and will make you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning device, similar to Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It's self-sufficient too, with a fully-featured app as well as a self-emptying, washable base.
The well-designed iRobot application guides you through an initial mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan as well as any "no-go" areas you mark on the map.
