The Best robot vacuums with mop Hoover

The best automatic vacuum robot hoover can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and will leave your floors clean. Its price is surprisingly low and features that are high-end (such as dirt detection) are a plus.

Check your robot's brushes regularly for tangled debris as well as hair. Clean them as needed. Some models can also automatically empty their onboard dust bin into a larger one at the base, which decreases the amount of fine dust that is released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've examined. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can generate up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the most powerful model) they employ intelligent mapping to design precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles like furniture legs. The robots also feature a feature called Carpet Boost that boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.

Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our bare floor tests and are particularly effective in removing pet hair. There are some issues however, which prevent them from being our top option. For one, the Q5's navigation system does not have AI-powered obstacle avoidance and is therefore prone to get caught up in shoes and socks, and is unable to navigate tight spaces very well in our tests. Also, it doesn't have a camera that would let it see the corners of a room.

It's still a great deal, especially if your home or office has lots of unfinished floors and you want to save money. Additionally, it's quiet and can work while you're at work or at school. The only thing it lacks that you don't get in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. It's also less effective at mopping, using disposable wet wipes that don't stay on well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 is self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. And, if you have to, you can switch the mopping pad for a dry one in seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact sleek and stylish vacuum cleaner that can also mop floors. Its nimble navigation and intelligent cleaning maps make it quick to clean and effective at tackling larger particles like pet hair. It also features a self-emptying bin with powerful suction and support for virtual boundaries. It's the most efficient robot automatic hoover for carpets, but it isn't as efficient as some of its competitors in deep cleaning.

This high-performance vacuum and mop utilizes sensors to keep away from obstacles and pet waste. It also learns the structure of your home over time to offer better cleaning. The app allows you to set up zones and modify the cleaning schedule. Its battery life is average when compared to similar models.

When the X30 Ultra is in a carpeted space, you can tell it to take off and extend its mops. This will help prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm is also perfect for getting under furniture that is low and along baseboards. It's not as efficient on the washboard as our other Editors' Choice Picks, the Ecovacs Ozmo N8Pro+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During testing, X30 Ultra was the most efficient robot vacuum/mop which could complete the task of cleaning a whole home with just 66 percent of its battery remaining. It did a decent cleaning job on different rooms and floors with various flooring types including some area carpets. Its obstacle detection was top-notch, and it nimbly avoided fake dog socks, turds, shoes and cables.

It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but has superior suction and an onboard bin that is automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can even clean the floor after it vacuums this feature, which we've not seen on other robotic cleaner and mop vacuum/mop combos.

3. iRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that looks more like a normal Roomba than the competition's boxes, this robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most attractive looking models in our tests. The latest model from iRobot is also the most intelligent. It comes with advanced features like enhanced dirt detection and future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads on its own).

It's also the sole robot vacuum or mop that scored a perfect 10 out of 10 in our testing. This is due to a mix of modern sensors, including a restructured lighting system, a camera, and a variety of lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can fully autonomously refill and empty its base station and it has an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

As with other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering a simple mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The only real drawback is that it's still quite loud that could be problematic if you run it in the morning prior to work or in the evening as you try to sleep.

It's also a bit expensive however, not as expensive as the Ecovacs MaxV Ultra or the Roborock S8 Omni, which are equally capable and better looking. If you're willing to live some more volume and some additional cost it's a efficient two-in-one device that should please almost everyone.

4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with a variety of sophisticated features to help you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that can take the care of mopping and vacuuming, with a multifunction dock that automatically emptys the automatic vacuum and mop's trash bin, refills its water tank and cleans and dry its mop pads.

The smart robot utilizes LIDAR and structured lighting to draw out floorplans and identify obstacles. It is more efficient in its navigation than its premium competitors. It also has a front mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time however this was not 100% reliable in our tests and was often confused with obstructions or power cords.

Its vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also comes with a feature called "Intelligent Dirt Detection", that regulates the vacuum's power and adjusts the frequency of cleaning for different areas in the house based on how dirty these areas are.

If you own a larger home, it is worth selecting a robot that comes with zones or spot cleaning modes. This allows you to inform the robot of which area of your home must be cleaned by using the app or voice command. If you have lots of furniture, a stairway mode is also useful. For busy families recharge functions and resume feature that allows your robot vacuum to pick up where it left off can be very useful.

iRobot RX3

The RX3 is a smarter cleaner than you'd imagine from its price. It does a stellar job vacuuming, removing 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with one pad and a rotating motion that is more efficient than most of the mop cleaners with robots that we've tested. It's also highly self-sufficient, with a fully-featured app, and a self emptying base that is washable.

The iRobot application is designed to help you navigate the mapping process that collects data on your floorplan as well as any "no go" areas you've marked on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules or create the spot-cleaning. It can also be used to it to rank your most filthy areas for greater efficiency. The app also grants access to many features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.

It also has the ability to reach corners and under furniture more easily because its shape is more rectangular. It also has a powerful suction of 8,000 Pascal suction and combs that are intelligent for pet hair. And you can create a spot-clean that thoroughly cleans a particular area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and cheaper alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's more appealing, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras look like cute eyes. It is excellent at vacuuming, but it's more likely to be caught in low thresholds. It also has a higher noise than other top robot vacuums we have test. It also has an app that's not as intuitive and a small base station that doesn't double as a bin to empty.
