The iRobot i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line, and it comes with the latest technology. It's self-charging and self-navigating. But the most significant feature is its auto-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba I7+ is able to make rooms more efficient maps using Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or through the app.
The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. Its main advantage over the eufy, though, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major cause of maintenance and cuts down on the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also amazed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot vacuum cleaner best buy to start, stop or pause its cleaning sessions and move around the room and vacuum a specific space. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The main issue with the V10 is its limited run time. The claims of its marketing that it can last up to 60 minutes of run time are a bit misleading as CR's tests show. This is a typical not an extraordinary time for a battery-powered cordless vac. It's still enough time to get rid of the majority of a home that's average size however, it's not enough to cover every area (though a second run-through usually will suffice).
