Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment into three attributes: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that weapons and melee attacks, while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item upgrade will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle but don't want burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used in addition to an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can add equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item upgrader kit is on an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item upgrades.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more because it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
