Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in battle, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto an entirely new piece of equipment.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added and an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item upgrade is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item level upgrade is 19.

When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. In the same way, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade item component is added to an item, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.

The upgrade of an item upgrader can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense and gives an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the item level upgrade type (either weapon or armor), the level of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
