1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling the i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good option for those who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but don't mind taking the time to empty their robot vacuum near me's trash bin when it fills up.
Both robots excel at picking up surface debris on carpets and hard floors, and they're excellent in maneuvering around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home that help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. However unlike the i7+ or other Top Rated Robot Vacuum-rated robots we test, the i3+ doesn't have a feature for avoiding obstacles, so it may get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and may have issues traversing transitions across surfaces like hardwood to rug.
iRobot suggests that you clean up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it might encounter. You should also keep the dustbin and filter clear to avoid getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station and automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. Then it continues cleaning where it began. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to recharge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and comes with the latest features. It has self-charging and self-navigating. But the most significant feature is its self-emptying bin. This will eliminate the need for regular maintenance.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self vacuum-emptying garbage bin, which eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning session, move itself around the room and sweep the area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected, we were able to communicate with the i7+ using voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model is an old-fashioned sports car. The V10's main drawback is its short running time. The claims of its marketing that it can provide up to 60 minutes of running time are not true as CR's tests have shown. This is a typical, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's running time. That's still enough run time to get rid of the majority of a home that's average size however, it's not enough to clean every spot (though the second time around usually does the trick). That's not to say this model doesn't have its advantages: It's lighter and maneuverable than older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming efficiency is better on low-pile carpet.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of the most well-known robot vacuums, the 694 is a basic model that's a great option for those who don't want to spend too much on a robot. It also has a bigger dustbin and is charged faster.
The RoboVac X8 is a slick RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 in most purposes, because it has a longer battery life, the ability to change its suction power mode on its own and comes with physical boundary strips, and is controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. It is also more durable and has a more powerful motor, and performs notably better on bare floors and carpets with low pile, while offering a wider range of automation options.
