The Best robot vacuum that mops Hoover

The Best robot vacuum cleaner UK robot hoover can clean and mop without requiring your attention, and will leave your floors spotless. Its surprisingly affordable price and features that are high-end (such as dirt detection) are pluses.

Examine your robot's brush regularly for tangled debris and hair. Wash them if needed. Some models will automatically empty their dust bin on board into a larger one at the base, which reduces the amount of fine dust that is released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 pro

The Q5 Pro and its sibling the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuum uk vacuums we've test. They feature motors that are top-of-the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other premium iRobots (including the most powerful model) they employ smart mapping to produce precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also feature carpet boost, a feature which boosts the robot's power when it sees the presence of dirt on the carpet, allowing it cleaned up quickly.

The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored extremely well in our tests on bare floors, and they are particularly adept in removing hair from dogs. There are some issues however, which prevent them from being our first option. For instance, the Q5's navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance which means it's susceptible to get caught up in shoes and socks, and is unable to navigate rooms with a lot of people efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't come with cameras that let it see the corners of an area.

However, it's a good choice to consider, particularly if you're looking to save money on a Roomba from iRobot and have a bare-floored home or office. It's also extremely quiet and works while you are at work or at school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming that is offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. And, if you have to change the mopping pad for dry ones in just a few just a few seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact sleek and stylish vacuum cleaner that also has the ability to mop floors. Its intelligent cleaning maps as well as quick navigation make it easy to clean, and efficient in tackling larger particles such as pet hair. It also has self-emptying dustbins, powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the most efficient robot hoover (Read A great deal more) for carpets, but it lags behind some competitors in deep cleaning robot mop and vacuum.

This top-performing mop and vacuum combination utilizes advanced sensors to stay clear of obstacles and pet waste, and it also learns your home's layout over time to ensure more efficient cleaning. The app allows you to customize zones and change the cleaning schedule. It has a battery life that is similar to other models.

You can tell the X30 Ultra to remove its mops and to extend them when it's in a carpeted room, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm is perfect for getting under low-lying furniture and along baseboards. It doesn't offer the same level of washboard performance as our other Editors' Choice picks, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8 Pro+ as well as the iRobot Combo j9+.

During tests, X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop to clean an entire home with just 66 percent of its battery remaining. It did a good cleaning job on a variety of rooms and floors with various flooring types including certain area carpets. Its obstacle detection was great and it stayed clear of fake dog turds, socks, shoes and bundles cables.

It's a little more expensive than the iRobot Combo v9+ and iRobot Roomba j9+, however, it comes with superior suction, an onboard dustbin that automatically empties into its base, and supports voice commands via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It even cleans the floor after it vacuums it, something we've not seen on other robotic vacuum/mop combos.

3. IRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competitors' boxy units This robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most appealing looking in our tests. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also the most intelligent. It features advanced features such as Enhanced Dirt Detection and future compatibility (another company's robot that can wash mop pads on its own).

It's the only robot vacuum/mop that scored 100% in our testing due to a mix of high-tech sensors, which include a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could refill and empty its basestation on its own. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mops.

As with other iRobot models as well, the X40 is user-friendly, with an intuitive mobile app interface, and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The only drawback is that the X40 still a loud unit. This can be a problem in mornings before work or at night when you're trying to sleep.

It's also somewhat expensive, but it's not as pricey as the Ecovacs X2 Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra both of which are similarly capable and more attractive. If you're willing to put up with a bit more noise and a little more cost it's a capable two-in-one that should delight most.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the line robot mop and vacuum. It has a range of advanced features that make you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning device, similar to Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It features a multi-functional dock that can automatically emptys the bin of the vacuum, refills the water tank, as well as washes and drys the mop pads.

The smart robot uses LIDAR and structured lighting to draw out floor plans and spot obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its premium competitors. It also comes with a front-mounted camera that can detect hazards in real-time, though this wasn't 100% reliable in our tests and could be confused with power cords or obstructions.

Its vacuum cleaner has the capacity to suction up to 7,000 Pascals which is more than sufficient to complete the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates the intensity at which the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home depending on the amount of dirt they tend to be.

For bigger homes it's worth looking for a model with zone or spot cleaning modes that let you tell the robot to clean a particular area of your house by using the app or voice controls. If you have furniture, a stair mode is also useful. For families with busy schedules, a recharge feature and resume feature that permits your robot vacuum to continue from where it left off could be extremely useful.

5. iRobot Roomba RX3

The RX3 is more sophisticated than its price suggests. It is a great job vacuuming, picking up 55% of the debris we found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses using one pad and a reciprocating motion that is more efficient than most of the robot mop cleaners that we've examined. It's self-sufficient too, with a full-featured app and an auto-emptying washable base.

The well-designed iRobot application guides you through an initial mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you have marked on the map. You can use it to make cleaning schedules, arrange the perfect spot for cleaning or sort out your rooms with the most dirt to ensure better performance. The app also grants access to a host of features like seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.

Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, which means it is able to reach corners and underneath furniture better. It has a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction, as well as clever combs for removing pet hair. It also has the ability to create a spot-clean that scours a specific area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and more affordable alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive style, much like Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed to resemble cute little eyes. It is excellent at vacuuming, but it's more likely to be caught on low thresholds. It is also noisier than other top robot vacuums that we have tested. It also has an app that is less intuitive and has a tiny base station that doesn't double as a bin for emptying.
