1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive cousin the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums that we have tested. They are equipped with top-of-the-line motors which can produce up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. And, like other top iRobot models (including the top choice) they utilize smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans and avoid home-based obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also have a feature called carpet boost which boosts the robot's power when it spots a lot of dirt on the carpet, allowing it cleaned quickly.
The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored very well in our tests on bare floors They are also adept at cleaning dog hair. However, they do have a few flaws, however, that prevent them from being our top option. One of the Q5's shortcomings is that its navigation system does not feature AI-powered obstacles avoidance. It's therefore prone to getting stuck on socks and shoes and could not navigate through rooms with a lot of people efficiently during our tests. If you need to, the mopping pad can be swapped for a wet one in minutes.
