World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses like PvE damage and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template is %, it will gain 3percent of its previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor to provide them with a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades also come with specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot for them. The item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as in some items that aren't ascended. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades can increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of upgrade crystals than they require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanic. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

The player can have up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-tier version of the item will appear during the next reset. This gives players the opportunity to upgrade their gear even in the event that they don't know what can be improved upon an update.

The process of upgrading an item could be costly and it's possible that the item will eventually become obsolete or even break in the event that the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed when the upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also offer an additional bonus when they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways, and we suggest getting them to level 15 whenever you can.

In the final game, you will often find that the best way to improve your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded up to level 15 and provide a significant boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Glyphs, the only upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and then replaced with no restrictions are the most commonly used. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts the stats of a particular set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Utilizing Glyphs Glyph will boost all the nodes that are connected to it, so you should aim to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximise the impact. Druids, for example should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to improve the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items may be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be bought from NPCs, or on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed results in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used for upgrading an item level upgrade. When enough points have been earned you'll be able to claim the upgrade and also receive the bonuses.

When an item is upgraded by a player it is replaced with a different item upgrader mod of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a disadvantage, as the item upgrader mod can be more expensive even if you do not need it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it is based on a level 1 base and completely different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, but it's not something that should be repeated often, as it could waste many resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their gear. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player is repeatedly in and out of the water (or is able to swim like dolphins). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the max roll by an increment of 10. This item is highly important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth 50 times the value of the unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of that piece, while upgrading weapon items will increase the base damage and required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Each time you upgrade an object, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can result in the item returning to its original condition, which requires the player to pay for more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned, such as chances to be crit damage to attack, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item upgrader mod is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade.

Premium items might have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For example, they may need fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. Whatever the case, players must visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade will require an individual amount of ingredients needed to upgrade.
