Top best rated robot vacuum Robot Vacuums

A robot vacuum cleaner for sale vacuum will keep your floors tidy enough to decrease the frequency of manual hoovering. Find one that has good navigation, can clean stairs and corners and has a huge dust bin that requires emptying only periodically.

You can also find models that mop and charge themselves, a feature that may be beneficial for those with children or pets. The top performers in our tests also have decent obstacle avoidance.

1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO

The i3+ EVO and its sibling the i3 EVO are the same robots, but they differ in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good choice for people who want an automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but aren't afraid of having to empty their dust bin manually when it is full.

Both robots are adept at picking up surface debris on hard floors and carpets, and they are very good at moving around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates a smart maps of your home to help the i3+ navigate and clean up efficiently. The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It could be stuck on power cords or socks, and may have trouble navigating between surfaces, such as hardwood and rug.

iRobot recommends clearing areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, including clearing out any clutter or toys it may encounter. Also, keep the filters and dust bin free of dirt to prevent them from becoming clogged. If the i3+'s internal bin is empty or the battery is not fully charged, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. Then it continues cleaning from where it left off. The i3+ EVO's battery can last for approximately an hour and a half of continuous use, and it takes about three hours to recharge.

2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot i7+ is a top model from iRobot’s flagship line and is packed with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most important feature of all -- it comes with a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.

The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names thanks to Imprint Smart Mapping, an application that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and it can direct your robot using the app or voice.

The i7+ is quicker and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major source of maintenance and reduces the amount of time spent cleaning.

We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We utilized these services to instruct the robot on how to start, stop, or pause cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and vacuum a particular area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. We were able, once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ like "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options for managing i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an athletic car in a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It's got the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of households, but it also fits perfectly next to the coffee table or a bookshelf where you can move it around like a magic wand.

The V10 is powered by a 7-cell, energy-dense lithium-ion battery which produces energy that is not faded for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filter system traps allergens, then lets cleaner air into your home. Its cleaning head is specially designed and drives bristles made of nylon that are stiff into carpets to trap large particles and fine dust. It comes with three suction settings to meet the task at hand. It swiftly switches from floor vac to handheld vacuum and back again.

This model comes with a dock that can charge the Dyson to 100 percent in 3.5 hours. It also offers an easy access to two attachments as well as the wand. This is a major improvement over earlier Dysons which require a long charge and are difficult to store.

The V10's main drawback is its limited running time. The tests conducted by CR show that its advertising claims of up to 60 minutes are a bit misleading. This is a typical, not an exceptional, run time for a battery-powered cordless vac. It's still enough time to vacuum the majority of a home that's average size, but not quite long enough to cover every spot (though a second run-through usually will suffice). This model has its own advantages, however: it's lighter and more maneuverable than earlier Dysons cordless models, and its vacuuming ability is noticeable superior on carpets with low pile.

4. iRobot Roomba 694

One of iRobot's most popular robot vacuums, the 694 is a basic model that's a good option for those who don't want to spend too much money on a robot. It could pick up all kinds of debris and sizes during our testing and often went over the same area several times to give a thorough clean. Its flat front makes it possible to reach the corners and the edges of walls.

Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt technology to steer clear of obstacles and navigate your home. However, it lacks the ability to map that is found in more advanced models, like our top picks, i3+EVO and J7+ Series. It can get stuck on phone cords or low furniture and will often run out of power before returning to its original location.

The Xiaomi Mi best robot hoover vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in all aspects in that it has fewer components that need regular cleaning and is equipped with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance, has more advanced automation capabilities and is better at maneuvering itself. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges faster.

The sleek RoboVac X8 has a superior battery life than the Roomba 694. It also comes with physical boundaries strips that can be controlled using the voice assistant on your smartphone. It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and performs better on low-pile and bare floors.

5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+

Samsung is a well-known brand in home electronics. It's not surprising, then, that they are also among the top rated Robot vacuum producers of robot vacuums and mop. Their Jet Bot AI+ is equipped with cutting-edge onboard technology for navigation and obstacles avoidance.

The app provides plenty of options to customize your robotic cleaner, including virtual barriers mopping water levels, behavior customization docking frequency settings and more. The app is easy to navigate and use as are other Samsung devices.

In our tests during our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and removed 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). However, it wasn't particularly well with larger objects, like cords and socks which was a disappointment. It's also more expensive than other models we've tested, and this could be a deterrent for some buyers.

The app allows you to access the camera onboard of the smart vacuum. You can also set up live streaming from the robot's area of cleaning. This feature allows you to monitor your children or pets when you're away. The dustbin and filter can be washed to make cleanup quick and easy. The Jet Bot AI+ comes with an automatic clean station which helps to keep the bin clean and improves suction power.

6. Black & Decker Robot Vacuum

In contrast to other robotic vacuums that are made for hard floors and carpets, Black and Decker robots are specifically designed for hard floors. They have a wider cleaning path and an extra-large dustbin that holds 2X more debris than competitors to keep the cleaning area free of debris for the longest period of time. Additionally, they come with two side sweepers to clean up around edges and in corners. The POWERSERIES Extreme model comes with AutoSense technology, which senses whether it's picking up dirt on surfaces or embedded dirt and automatically adjusts the power level. The vacuum also comes with an app that allows users to see the virtual map, manage functions, and create schedules. You can also monitor the status of the vacuum's battery and then return it to its dock to charge by pressing the button. The app also lets you to personalize the LED lights on top of the vacuum using different colors, so that you can easily tell what areas it's focusing on or where it's stuck.

The app allows you to manually steer the robot when needed. For example, my living room rug has a darkly colored border that has a tendency to make it difficult for other robots I've tested. The HRV 425BL, however, continued to move across the border without ever registering the cliff. The ability to program a cleaning schedule for each week is a time-saving convenience.
