Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item that makes certain Pokemon develop. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc, and is often offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item upgrader mod.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being utilized. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a specific level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that are visible when they are applied. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, purchased by karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

A variety of upgrade components are available, each providing various bonuses. Universal upgrades like gems and inscriptions can be used on any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be found in non-amulet ascended equipment and legendary equipment, while enrichments are used to upgrade certain items that are ascended back. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted into gathering tools, and enchantments. Both are able to be removed and then reinserted.

Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the item upgrade's hover display, while upgrades with suffix and prefix will add their names to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item upgrades.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to add and view these unique characters as well as common symbols like em and en dashes as well in trademark symbols that are registered.

Each Glyph gives a character a boost in their primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats which will influence its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost which is multiplied by other bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the item you are looking for and every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has a different set of available Glyphs.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more challenging the dungeon is, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is able to be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has been upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its range on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your game, which is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonuses when certain conditions are satisfied.

If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of views. Each of these views will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs by choosing an option below "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is a process in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to pull an item or character you are interested in. This can be done to level up faster, or to gain more valuable loot like a new weapon for your character. Many players reroll until the character they want is available, regardless of strength. It could be because they like the style or the personality of the character.

When you reroll, it is important be sure that the changes you're making are safe. You should test locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a Core dev check. Upload the patch with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, based on the luck of the draw. To save time be sure to avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. You should also avoid re-doing quests that you can complete later in the game. This will save you time and energy.

When rerolling, it's essential to be aware the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.

Rerolling might not be necessary however it can be an option to increase the chances of acquiring a certain character or weapon. It could be beneficial in the case of trying to find the Best item upgrader character in the game or if you're looking to try different styles of play and builds.

Sets

A set is a collection of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a class). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades make a set item upgrades more effective than it was prior to. For weapons and armor this means that it gets an increased base defense value and less strength requirements and an lower requirement for level.

Upgrades can bring well-known items from single sets up to parity with items in higher-level sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Certain sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't need upgrading. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may require an upgrade to boost their value. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
