1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro and its sibling, the pricier Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've examined. They feature motors that are top-of-the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the most powerful model) they employ intelligent mapping to design precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also have a feature called carpet boost which boosts the robot's power when it spots a lot of dirt on the carpet in order to get it clean quickly.
Both the Q5 as well as the Q7 Max Series get very high scores on our floor tests that test for bare floors and are particularly effective in cleaning pet hair. There are some issues, however, that prevent them from being our first option. For one, the Q5's navigation system does not have AI-powered obstacle avoidance and is therefore prone to become entangled in socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tight spaces very efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't come with a camera that would let it see the corners of the room.

Plus, it's very quiet and you can use it when you're at work or going to school. The only thing it lacks that you won't find in the pricier iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective at mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 does have a self-emptying dock, though. And, if you have to change the mopping pad for dry ones in just a few seconds.

In the course of testing, X30 Ultra was the most efficient robot vacuum uk vacuum/mop which could complete the task of cleaning a whole home with just 66 percent of its battery remaining. It also did an excellent job cleaning a range of floors and rooms that had different flooring types, including certain area rug. Its obstacle detection was top-of-the-line, and it nimbly avoided fake dog socks, turds, and bundles of cables.
It's more expensive than iRobot Combo v9+ or iRobot Roomba j9+ but it has superior suction and an onboard bin that is automatically empty into the base. It also supports voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can clean the floor even after it has vacuumed. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robotic vacuum/mop combos.
