1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
Roborock's most popular robot vacuum cleaner (i was reading this) does not disappoint. It has more advanced features than the previous models, but the main attraction is its capacity to intelligently clean your home for you. It can identify floor types, no-go zones, stubborn stains, pet bowls and more. It does this by analyzing its surroundings using cameras and a sophisticated map. This allows it to determine what to do at any given moment which means you don't have to press buttons repeatedly or adjusting multiple modes.
Like all Roborock vacuums, this one can also mop. This is a great addition to the Roborock collection, as it makes the robovac even superior. The mop head is extremely efficient, and it can be switched to a scrubbing mode for cleaning more difficult dirt. Another advantage is that the robovac has the ability to climb small step thresholds thanks to its front-mounted sensor as well as a rotating FlexiArm.
The app is easy to use and allows you to modify settings. You can also create rooms for the robot to clean. Rocky, the voice assistant, is responsive and can clearly understand commands. You can ask it to end an activity or repeat the exact list of commands. It is also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and Matter-certified to integrate with Apple HomeKit.
The S8 MaxV Ultra has a 5,200mAh battery and can last for up to 180 minutes before returning to the dock to recharge. The battery is automatically emptied and cleaned at the end every run. This helps reduce the charging time.
2. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 Ultra is a powerful cleaning machine that works at the top of its game when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. This vacuum cleaner has strong suction, advanced features, and is pet-friendly. It's a great choice for busy families. Its advanced navigation, obstacles avoidance, and customizable options make it one of the top robot vacuum cleaners available on the market.
The robot vacuum utilizes an RGB camera to track its surroundings and identify obstacles using artificial intelligence. This prevents it from sucking your cat's toy, or a cable that is lying on the ground and causing damage to your floor. This feature allows you to mark specific areas which the robot is not supposed to clean.
Dreame X40 is also excellent at sweeping and mowing, thanks to its unique dual brush system which eliminates dirt from corners. It can also clean baseboards, making it a perfect option for those with kids and pets. This robot vacuum is easy to set up and operate, with a smart app that provides a variety of customization options.
This vacuum comes with an automatic cleaning system that empties the waste bins and refills the cleaning solutions tank. This saves your time. The robot vacuum can clean up to 308 square meters in the time of 198 minutes. It will return to its dock for charging in a timely manner, so that you can quickly pick up where it began. Furthermore it is compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Home, allowing you to control it using voice. You can download the Dreame X40 app on iOS or Android devices to personalize your cleaning regimen.
3. Eufy X10
The Eufy X10 offers a wide variety of features for an affordable robot vacuum cost. It can do everything you have a robot vacuum or mop to do, all at a reasonable price point.
This model is able to handle floor cleaning tasks with no assistance, such as sweeping, mopping and dusting. Its base station takes a bit more space than other models, with 50cm on either side and 150cm in the front.
The intelligent vacuum cleaner navigation technology of the X10 is able to track the layout and design of your home. It stores the data in its internal memory, without ever sending it to the cloud. The X10 can store the layout of rooms with iPath and AI See. It can also optimize cleaning routes to be efficient and thorough.
The X10 smart object recognition system is extremely efficient, allowing it recognize and avoid dangers such as power cords. It can also be programmed to automatically clean and recharge its battery which is a nice touch. However, I discovered that the X10 could get stuck on some more thick carpets, which can cause it to crash loudly over them and sometimes pushing its front brush into the rugs.
Overall it's a top quality robot vacuum and mop that's let down by a somewhat confusing app. Eufy Clean's app isn't as intuitive as the iRobot App, which guides you through the process of setting your robot up and teaches you how to use. It's an excellent choice for those who wish to customize it.
4. SwitchBot S10
The SwitchBot S10 is a full-fledged auto vacuum cleaner and mop robot that brings the best of both worlds to home cleaning. It comes with a unique design framework which allows it to collect dust and provide water for mopping in the same machine.
It is equipped with all of the sensors used on high-end robotic vacuums. This lets it map your home in real-time while staying clear of obstacles and recognizing different kinds of carpets and hard flooring. A front-facing AI-capable camera is also included making it easier to navigate around your home and find areas that are otherwise unaccessible for the majority of robotic vacuums.
This powerful robotic device is outfitted with a powerful suction motor capable of removing pet hair dirt, dust and other particles both from hard carpeting and floors with low pile. The app lets you modify the robot to meet your preferences. You can create custom cleaning routines and alter the mopping and vacuuming power.
It mops exceptionally well and comes with a RevoRoll roller mop that can create 10N worth of pressure on any floor. It also has a RinseSync system that automatically cleans itself as it moves through your home. This helps to keep the mop clean as it collects dirt and prevents it from spreading around your home.
The battery life isn't like some of its rivals and may require an additional recharge if you have a larger house. It can also be extremely loud when in operation, so might not be a good choice to use in locations where quiet is desired. However, it's an excellent value for its price. The SwitchBot S10 is a model that is unique in its class due to its sleek, contemporary design.
5. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an upgrade from the popular Mini robot vacuum. The latest version comes with an Anti-Tangle Rubber Brush, Advanced Position Sensitive Detector (PSD) sensor and an upgraded suction capacity that goes 3000Pa or more to provide greater corner coverage and overall cleaning.
The K10 Plus uses SLAM navigation an easy app, and an extensive cleaning process. The PSD sensor and rotary brush work in tandem to navigate around furniture. The four-stage process of cleaning consolidates, lifts and sweeps debris from carpets and floors. The dustbin will empty itself, so there's no need to empty it regularly.
You can also mark the areas that you do not want the device to access, such as pets toys or power cords. This is a feature that's common in robotic vacuums. It's helpful when certain areas of your house require more attention.
You can configure the K10 Plus so that it returns to its base station after 60, 75 or even 90 minutes in order to empty its trash bin. This is an enormous improvement over other robots that have to be returned frequently and manually emptied to save time.
In my tests, the K10 Plus had a very good battery life. It lasted 110 mins on a single run. This is higher than iRobot Roomba Combo's 127 mins.
The K10 Plus has a fairly compact design, which makes it easy to put under furniture or tight spaces. It connects via Wi-Fi, and includes Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri shortcuts. It is compatible with IFTTT, Samsung SmartThings and IFTTT. The app tracks how often you use its accessories, like the side brushes, filter, and dust bag. This will inform you when it's time to replace them.
