It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know if the update is actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

If you're looking to save some cash or simply don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models for considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch on and plug in the charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to Wi-Fi and then the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be placed near an outlet with enough space to move.
The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
