The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to do this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially in the area of navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, either, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.

It's easy to set it up, just snap on one of the side brushes and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner.
