The ability to upgrade items is a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. However, upgrading magic and common equipment is not worth the investment since rare or unique equipment can quickly surpass it.
An item can be upgraded up to six times. Each upgrade will increase the item gauge.
Glyphs
Glyphs are the upgrade item materials that can be used to enhance an item upgrader's attributes. Glyphs are commonly used to upgrade a weapon or armor however they can also be used to improve a hat, ring, necklace, or any other accessory. Glyphs are sold at a variety of levels and can be purchased from vendors in the city of Deneb. They can be very costly however they are worth the investment as they can boost the stats of an item.
A glyph is a character that encodes the shape of a symbol, letter, or numeral. It has a particular appearance and is assigned a unique code that refers to it across various fonts. In addition to regular letters, glyphs can also contain special characters, such as arrows or mathematical symbols. They may also represent symbols or icons that are used by a specific language. There are also ligatures which join two letters and swashes - decorative symbols.
There are many types of glyphs and a font can contain multiple variants of each. The glyphs that are default in Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for example, include all of the standard characters as well as ornaments, swashes and fractions and ligatures. You can see these variations in the Glyphs Panel and then add them directly into your document.
Glyph metrics are the parameters that determine where the glyph is placed when layouts for text are designed. These metrics are determined by a variety of variables, including the advance width and side bearings. Then select one of the options to display a resized or collapsed Glyphs panel or choose the option to show only recently inserted glyphs.
Growthstones
Growthstones can be used to increase the stats of an accessory, weapon, or armor. This is a lengthy process and there is a chance that the item upgrader won't reach its intended level. Suffixes can also alter the part of speech of a word, like English's -er or German's -ismus. They can also alter the spelling of a word, like the adjective defenseless becoming not protected.
There are many kinds of suffixes that range from nouns to verbs to adjectives and adverbs. Adding suffixes to words can change their meaning or pronunciation, and some have specific rules that apply. Suffixes also serve to modify grammatical rules, like adding the suffix -ness the word to make it an adjective or -ic to a noun to make it possessive.
In addition to being used to give the meaning of a word, suffixes can also be used to create new names of people and places. A single man might have the surname "Paulauskaite" and women who are married would be able to use "Paulauskiene".
The most commonly used suffixes indicate the status of the person. They include -ion and -ist. They can also be used to describe the traits of a person's personality like -iveness or -phoria.
Items affixes can be used to give weapons and armor additional parameters. These are often a combination of one or more prefixes or suffixes. For instance, -Fiery increases atk power by introducing fire elemental damage. Affixes for items are available for most items that are level 80, except for made ascended armor and crafted trinkets.
