Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's best combo vacuum [reviews over at wanguardplacements.com]-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most advanced robot to date is the Roomba J7+. Its greatest advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes, and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often plough right through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills easily and leaves no trace of it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.

Its design is also superior to the rest, with a sleek top 10 robot vacuum cleaner piece that looks more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base automatic vacuum Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests, we found that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and pet hair. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots could not accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ self vacuum-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who want both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's difficult to know if the update is actually working until you see it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best option is probably one that is a hybrid. This type of robot typically comes with a built-in tank for water, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. These bots also have many additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not include some of the expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem which many robot vacuums often fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas, adjust your home map, or re-label the rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once installed, the process of emptying the bin is simple. It also has an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the best auto vacuum in the industry however, it's costly.

It's a small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.

And its vacuuming is impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home. It's not able climb stairs as well as some competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive and has many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning of hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's easy to set it up, just attach one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then plug in your charging dock. The app takes you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock close to an outlet for power and enough space to allow it to move around, however.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under couches and other low-clearance furniture. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finish and three physical buttons that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The most important aspect that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. If it requires a recharge, it automatically returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it began.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a larger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. It also comes with boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller size means that it doesn't need to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
