Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher-quality token for rerolling. Enhanced upgrades require a common item upgrader, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This is a great way for players who want to gain an advantage in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by combining an item upgrader mod with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. This includes the type of item (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade.
