Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often go through). It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so that you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the Best Amazon Vacuum robot to mop we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't vacuum areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

The design is also more appealing than the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that resembles toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.

In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brushes held the debris in place, rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's shedding hair.

The j7+, while not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is an excellent choice for those who want both mopping and a vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and it can be difficult to determine whether they're working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the ideal choice. This type of robot typically has a built-in water tank which means they can vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also come with various additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuum cleaner best vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is superb, with only a few mishaps along walls and in corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas, modify your home map or change the room's label.

If you opt for the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It also features an impressive LCD display which is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for most people but it can help you keep track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.

It is a relatively small base station that looks great and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling point is how it automates various tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.

And its vacuuming is impressive, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs like other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot cleaner vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for a robot vacuum that does everything.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are alternatives available. Many eufy models cost substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper however it comes with more features, such as stair climbing and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums with the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock close to an outlet for power and plenty of room for it to move around but.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious when compared to rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The most important feature that makes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters while retaining what it's cleaned and where it can't access. It will return to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring expenses, charges more quickly and has the same battery life, while providing better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 however, is more affordable and much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials like cereal.
