The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored excellently in our tests on bare floors and are especially adept in removing hair from dogs. However, they do have a few flaws however, which prevent them from being our top option. One of them is that the Q5's navigation doesn't feature AI-powered obstacle avoidance technology, so it's prone to become entangled in shoes and socks and can't navigate rooms with a lot of people efficiently in our tests. It also doesn't have an image sensor that lets it see the corners of an area.
However, it's a good choice to consider, particularly if you're looking to save money on a Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. It's also quiet and operates while you're at work or in school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's offered by the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective at mopping. It relies on disposable wet wipes that don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. If you're required to clean the mopping pad, it can be replaced with an awe-inspiring one in a matter of just a few seconds.
2. iRobot Roomba X30

It also supports voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can even clean the floor after vacuuming, a feature that we haven't seen in other robot vacuum/mop combinations.
3. Roomba X40 from iRobot
With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba rather than the boxes This robot vacuum and mop combo is among the most attractive designs in our evaluations. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also its smartest. It features advanced features, like Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company's robot that can wash mop pads autonomously).
It's the only robot vacuum/mop to score 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, which include cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot in our tests that can completely self-refill and empty its base station and it has an industry-leading 12,000Pa suction and self-cleaning mop pads.

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot vacuum and mop. It has a number of advanced features that make you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs' range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that can take the care of vacuuming and mopping, with a multi-function dock that automatically empties the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, cleans and dry its mop pads.
The smart robot makes use of the combination of LIDAR and structured light to draw out floor plans and spot obstacles, navigating more intelligently than its more expensive rivals. It can be used to create cleaning schedules or to set up an best automatic vacuum spot-clean. It can also be used to it to rank your most filthy areas for greater efficiency. The app offers a variety of features, including seasonal suggestions, custom mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.
