Are Item Upgrade As Important As Everyone Says
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like a weapon, armor, or rings. The item is replaced with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item upgrade's durability. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item upgrades an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at once. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be added and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades are no longer available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved Best item upgrade level. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item upgrade, it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader kit Upgrader (Topspeed.Lv) NPC.
