World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

For instance an item with the upgrade template that ends in % will suffer an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

Item upgrading costs crests and the Best item upgrader's current level. The cost increases with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons and armor in order to provide them with a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot to accommodate them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be used. Upgrade components, unlike other mods, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level with normal methods.

A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of an armored weapon or. These upgrades can be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by collecting them from enemies when upgrading other gear.

The player can get up to five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their gear even when they're not sure how much it can be improved upon a reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be expensive, and there is a substantial risk that the item may be obsolete or even break if it fails; a failed upgrade will cause the destruction of the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the possibility of failure. Some upgrades also give an additional bonus when they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded various ways, and we recommend upgrading them to 15 levels whenever you can.

In the final game you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is by placing Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15 and offer significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to reach higher nodes faster.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced with no restrictions are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using the aid of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll require them to be put on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus which will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in a radius surrounding the Glyph. It could be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is recommended to place Glyphs in strategic places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for example, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their most critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items lets players increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has an amount that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns some Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and when enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original Item upgrader Kit is replaced with a new item of the same type. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This can be a downside, as the item can increase in price even if you do not require it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to be able to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will come with the level 1 base, and a completely different set of bonuses. This can be useful for some items, but it's not something that should be performed frequently, since it can waste many resources.

Some upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. The item can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is highly valuable in PvP. A well-rolled version can be worth 50 times the value of the unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The upgrader for items allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons trinkets, and armor) above ilvl385 by presenting the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear which can have eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an Best item upgrade, it is given a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item upgrader mod reverting to its initial state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned like crit chance damage to attack, other effects (such as increased heal over time, or reloading speed). The player will be able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded gains a crit chance increase it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The upgrade cost for non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items will have the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items could have different upgrade requirements from standard gear. For instance they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Players will still have to bring each piece of gear they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs listed above, each equipment upgrade requires the use of different upgrade ingredients.
